SNA Students Celebrate Excellent GCSE Success

South Nottinghamshire Academy (part of the Redhill Academy Trust) is pleased to celebrate the amazing achievements of our Year 11 students.

Headteacher Mark Siviter says ‘Congratulations to all of our Year 11 students – these results are a testimony to the outstanding work and commitment shown by our students and unwavering support from our school staff. We are beyond proud of each of them, and we look forward to welcoming them back in September to continue their studies in the Sixth Form’.

Many individual Year 11 students secured outstanding results including:

Emma (pictured below left) did amazingly well and secured a full suite of grade 9’s in Biology, Chemistry, English Language, English Literature, French, Further Maths, History, Maths, Physics, RE and Spanish.
Sarah (pictured below right) did astonishingly well with a full suite of grade 9’s in Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Chinese, English Language, English Literature, Further Maths, History, Maths, Physics, RE and Spanish.

Joseph (pictured below left) did exceptionally well gaining 8 x grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Further Maths, History, Maths, Physics and RE. He also secured a grade 8 in French and 2 x grade 7s in English Literature and English Language.
Rory (pictured below right) gained an outstanding set of results with 9 x grade 9’s in Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, English Language, English Literature, History, Physics, RE, Spanish and a grade 8 in Maths.
Max (pictured below left) achieved a wonderful set of results gaining 5 grade 9s in English Literature, Fine Art, History, Media Studies and a 9-8 in Combined Science. He also gained 4 x grade 8s in English Language, German, Maths and RE.
Orla (pictured below middle) did incredibly well gaining 8 x grade 9s in Business Studies, Combined Science, English Language, English Literature, Geography, Maths and Media Studies and 2 x grade 8s in RE and Spanish.
Troy (pictured below right) secured fantastic results with 5 x grade 9s in Combined Science, French, History and Maths. He also gained 6 grade 8s in English Literature, English Language, Further Maths, Music, RE and Spanish and a grade 7 in Art.
Robyn (pictured below left) did amazingly well and gained 8 x grade 8s in Biology, Chemistry, Further Maths, German, History, Maths, Physics and RE. She also gained 3 x grade 8s in Drama, English Language and English Literature.
Noah (pictured below middle) achieved an outstanding set of results with 6 x grade 9s in Combined Science, Computer Science, History, Maths and Media Studies. He also secured 2 grade 8s in German and RE, a grade 7 in English Literature and a grade 6 in English Language.
Delphi (pictured below right) did tremendously well and gained Business Studies, Combined Science, English Literature, French, History, Media Studies and RE. She also gained grade 8s in English Language, Further Maths and Maths.

Congratulations again on your achievements this week. You are all exceptional, inspiring and talented young people, and we couldn’t be prouder of you.
