SNA Students Celebrate Excellent GCSE Success

South Nottinghamshire Academy (part of the Redhill Academy Trust) is pleased to celebrate the amazing achievements of our Year 11 students.

Executive Headteacher Dan Philpotts says ‘Congratulations to all of our Year 11 students - these results are a testimony to the outstanding work and commitment shown by our students and unwavering support from our school staff. We are beyond proud of each of them and we look forward to welcoming the majority back in September to continue their studies in the Sixth Form’.

Many individual Year 11 students secured outstanding results including:

Sophie C (pictured below) secured grade 9’s in an incredible 9 subjects: Biology, Business studies, Chemistry, English Language, English Literature, Maths, Media Studies, Physics and Chinese.

Zach H (pictured below) did incredibly well. Zach secured grade 9’s in Biology, Chemistry, History, Maths and Physics, as well as grade 8’s in English Literature and RE. He also gained grade 7’s in English Language and French.

Isabel W (pictured below left) who has secured grade 9’s in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics, as well as grade 8’s in Drama, English Language, English Literature, History, RE and a grade 7 in French.
Matty M (pictured below right) secured grade 9’s in English Language, English Literature, Science, Drama, History and RE as well as a grade 7 in Maths and a 5 in Spanish.

Rachel Y (pictured below) secured grade 9’s in 7 subjects, Biology, Chemistry, English Literature. Fine Art, Food Prep and Nutrition, Physics and Chinese. She also received grade 8 in Maths, English Language and Business Studies.

Wun Yiu S (pictured below) secured grade 9’s in Computer Science, English Literature, Maths and Chinese. She also received grade 8’s in Biology, Chemistry, Geography, and Physics, as well as a grade 7 in English Language.

Dylan R (pictured below) achieved 6 grade 9’s in Biology, Chemistry, Design and Technology, Geography, Maths and Physics, as well as grade 7’s in English Literature, French and RE.

Mariam A (pictured below) achieved grade 9’s in 7 subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Maths. Physics, RE and Arabic. She also achieved grade 8’s in English Language, Fine Art and German.
