Personal Development
Personal Development at South Nottinghamshire Academy
At South Nottinghamshire Academy, we are committed to developing our students beyond the classroom. Our Personal Development (PD) programme supports students to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and morally, ensuring they leave us confident, resilient, and prepared for life.
The SNA Way
Our PD curriculum is built around the SNA Way, which sets the values and behaviours we expect from every student:
- Show Respect
- Never Give Up
- Aim High
- Work Hard
- Attend
- Your Future Awaits
These values shape our assemblies, tutor programme, PSHE/RSHE lessons, enrichment, careers education and theme weeks.
