Rushcliffe School Sport Partnership

South Nottinghamshire Academy plays host to the Rushcliffe School Sports Partnership.  The Partnership works collaboratively with all Primary, Secondary and Special Schools in Rushcliffe to deliver the School Games Programme across the Borough, as well as support schools in their provision of Physical Education and School Sport.

With a varied calendar of events for both Primary and Secondary Pupils, engagement levels from schools are extremely high and exceed the national average.  The partnership aims to attract schools and its pupils of all abilities and experiences to its events, all encompassed by the 6 School Games values; Honesty, Respect, Determination, Passion, Self-Belief and Teamwork.

In addition to the calendar of events, the theme of Leadership and a productive young workforce is central to the work.  The Partnership operates a Leadership Academy and provides support with leadership training for both primary and secondary pupils.

The Rushcliffe School Sports Partnership works closely with partners such as Rushcliffe Borough Council, Active Notts, local sports clubs and various National Governing Bodies of Sport to also promote community sporting opportunities for young people.
